My fellow Americans (I have the birth certificate to prove it), I can't EVEN tell you how exhausted I've been lately... Day after day I stand in front of Mr. O for hours on end on my aching tripod feet coming up with all this brilliant stuff to say about hope and change. And do you think I get any credit? Noooooooo.
At least I'm off the campaign trail these days and officially moved into 1600 Penn Ave. Things could be a lot worse though. I could be Hillary Clinton's teleprompter. I heard that Bill got a little too friendly with Hillary's teleprompter last week. Let's just say it took A LOT of WD-40 to clean up that situation..............
I'll do my best to post as often as I can when I'm not too busy trying to come up with alternative terms for terrorism like "man made catastrophe" and hanging out with the AIG posse.

Still in the hospital: Some in the media are speculating that I was high on drugs when I crashed over and blamed my fall on being some kind of teleprompter junkie. This is blatant slander!!! The last thing I remember is Rahm Emanuel giving me a glass of cherry Kool Aid, and about 10 minutes later I was on the ground shattered into a million pieces… I will not be slandered! I will not have my credibility torn apart in the press! I’ve done a lot of great things for this administration. I’ve been a good soldier. I will deal with all of this later as soon as I figure out how to use this bedpan……….. More to come

This is what happens when I take an afternoon off and Rahm Emanuel decides to replace me with a union teleprompter. Just get a load of this “hilarity”…………..
SMALL BUSINESS EVENT: Obama enters the room; Karen Mills, SBA administrator, speaks first. “He knows that there are great challenges” facing small businesses, she said. (3:42 p.m.)
After being introduced by a small business owner - who worked a loud “Yes we can” into her remarks - POTUS takes to the podium. (3:48 p.m.)
Obama acknowleges Lisa Pinero, the small business owner who introduced him, a former single mom and a hair stylist - “the hair looks good, by the way,” he turns to her and jokes.
Doing hair and scooping ice cream - “there was a song about you, right?” POTUS quips. Pinero has an impressive blonde coiffure. (3:53 p.m.)
“All of this is a good start but it’s just a start,” Obama said.
“Please be sure to keep feeding us with ideas.”
Obama shakes hands with the from row for a few seconds and exits through the Green Room with his usual line, “Thank you everybody.”
